Inter Milan play host to Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League this evening.

Christian Eriksen of Spurs looks on during the Premier League match between Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool FC at Wembley Stadium on September 15, 2018 in London, United Kingdom.

Tottenham ace Christian Eriksen spoke to reporters yesterday, ahead of his side’s Champions League clash with Inter Milan this evening, and responded to Nerazzurri star Matias Vecino labelling him as the north London outfit’s most dangerous player, as quoted by Football.London.

Spurs are currently in the midst of a concerning run of form, having lost their last two Premier League outings, and they will need Eriksen to be at his very best, if they are to avoid another defeat tonight in the San Siro.

Inter star Matias Vecino lavished praise upon the Denmark international, warning his teammates that the 26-year-old is Tottenham’s most dangerous player.

And Eriksen responded to the Uruguayan’s comments when speaking to reporters yesterday, as quoted by Football.London:

“Yeah, I think it’s good if they concentrate on me because there are nine or ten other players who can take advantage of that. I think that’s good. I’ve got used to the pressure now with the national team of trying to create something. It’s a team performance. We need to play and everything goes through the team. I think it’s good that they focus on me because there are other players who can do the job.”

Spurs’ clash with Inter kicks off at 17:55 this evening, and Mauricio Pochettino’s men will be desperate to prove that they have what it takes to win Europe’s premier competition.
