Tottenham Hotspur star Toby Alderweireld scored a rare international goal.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Toby Alderweireld was on the scoresheet in a 9-0 win for Belgium against San Marino.
This was a rare goal for Alderweireld, just his fifth at international level in 95 games.
His appearance helped him become his country’s fifth highest capped player ever. His Tottenham teammate Jan Vertonghen is number one at 117.
Impressively, Alderweireld has now scored in his last two international caps, previously netting in a 4-0 win over Scotland last month.
Prior to that his previous goal game in 2016 against Bosnia, and he also netted at Euro 2016 in the group stages versus Hungary.

His first international goal came back in 2013 in a friendly defeat to Japan.
The 30-year-old has not scored a Premier League goal for Tottenham since 2017, on the last day of the season against Hull.
