Tottenham Hotspur winger Dejan Kulusevski has claimed that it is easier to go to training now that Ange Postecoglou has replaced Antonio Conte.

Dejan Kulusevski, who has been speaking to Fotbollskanalen, thinks Postecoglou’s attacking philosophy has made life more enjoyable at Hotspur Way.

What exactly has Dejan Kulusevski said about training at Tottenham?

On life under Postecoglou compared to Conte, the 23-year-old said: “I’m not saying that what we did before was completely wrong, but it was something completely different.

“I think it’s easier to come to training every day and know that you should play with the ball, that you should attack and run forward and not backwards.”

Whatever Postecoglou is doing on the training pitch is working, with Tottenham making a strong start to the new season.

The north London club currently find themselves in second place after beating Burnley, Bournemouth and Manchester United.

They have only dropped points in one game so far, drawing 2-2 with Brentford right at the beginning of the campaign. That and their early elimination in the Carabao Cup show that there is still room for improvement, but there is no doubt that supporters will be delighted with what they are seeing from their team at the moment.

Tottenham have the team to play attacking football

With Kulusevski, Son Heung-min and James Maddison all currently at the club, Tottenham have a lot of talent in attack.

Postecoglou may as well utilise it and his time at Celtic suggests that he will do just that and will not play a boring brand of defensive football.

It remains to be seen if the 58-year-old’s style will work in the long run, but it is certainly doing the trick now.

An elite striker in January or next summer could really put the icing on the cake, though with the transfer window having just closed, it may not be something that Postecoglou is thinking about at present.
