The Spurs ace could be back for Saturday’s Premier League trip to Southampton.

Tottenham Hotspur have been handed a boost in the shape of Dele Alli returning to full training and potentially being in contention for Saturday’s Premier League meeting with Southampton.
Spurs head to the south coast this weekend seeking their first win in four league games, having drawn to North London rivals Arsenal last weekend and losing to Chelsea and Burnley prior to that.
Alli sustained a hamstring problem during Spurs’ win over Fulham in January and hasn’t featured since, but he was finally able to join his teammates on the training ground this week, with Tottenham’s Twitter account eagerly posting pictures.
The player himself tweeted one of those photos from his own account, with no words, only a “smirking face” emoji, which could possibly be referring to the face he’s pulling in the picture, but could it also be a hint for tomorrow’s team selection?
Some Spurs fans took to the social media platform and gave their thoughts:
Alli has made 25 appearances in all competitions for Spurs this term, scoring seven goals – five in the Premier League and two in the Carabao Cup – and registering four assists (Transfermarkt).
