Tottenham want Sonny Perkins having joined Leeds United in the race to sign West Ham United’s exciting teenager.
Antonio Conte’s men have already struck with two deals in this summer’s transfer window, snapping up Fraser Forster and Ivan Perisic.
The focus will be on first-team additions as Tottenham prepare for the Champions League.
Yet Fabio Paratici and co may still look for young talents to develop over the coming years with Perkins now on the radar.
Tottenham want Sonny Perkins
The Guardian now report that Tottenham are now showing an interest in signing West Ham talent Perkins.
It’s stated that West Ham have been in talks to keep Perkins given that his contract expires at the end of the month.
The problem is that West Ham aren’t impressed with Perkins’ wage demands, seemingly feeling that he is demanding far too much.
That means that Perkins looks set to leave West Ham and he isn’t short of suitors.
The Athletic reported last week that Leeds United are pushing to sign Perkins as they continue to target talented youngsters.

Yet Leeds now face a major battle for Perkins as it’s claimed that both Tottenham and Aston Villa are joining the race for his signature.
West Ham will be due compensation should Perkins move this summer on and they would no doubt loathe to see him join Tottenham.
Perkins, 18, won West Ham’s Young Player of the Year award so this feels like a significant loss if he does move on.
Perkins hit 10 goals in 20 Premier League games this past season and made three first-team appearances for West Ham.
West Ham fans may have hoped to see Perkins become a first-team star like Declan Rice, but he may instead move on with Leeds facing a potential hijack from Tottenham.
