This weekend Tottenham were linked with a move for another striker, Mark Uth.
The Mirror report Spurs are monitoring the Hoffenheim forward, who has scored five goals this season.
With his contract set to expire in 2018, The Mirror claim Tottenham could sign him for just £6 million.
Uth would be another gamble for Spurs, with just 18 months experience in Germany, playing his football in Holland prior to that.
Yet at a cheap price, he could be a gamble worth taking, due to the fact Janssen has failed to perform.
Uth would alleviate the pressure on Janssen and boost Tottenham’s options if the worst happened with Harry Kane.
His confidence is likely higher than the Dutchman’s right now, and the North London side should explore their options.
