The Spain international is one of Europe’s most exciting young players, and he would be a sensational signing for Spurs – one that would really prove their ambition as a football club.
Asensio can play anywhere along the front-line, possesses pace in abundance, and has wonderful technical ability. He is also lethal when presented with a goalscoring opportunity.
The Madrid star would provide fantastic competition for the likes of Erik Lamela and Heung-Min Son in wide areas, and he could also fill in for Harry Kane through the middle, as and when the England international is unavailable for selection.
