Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly joined the race to sign the Tottenham Hotspur midfielder.

According to a report from the Express, Paris Saint-Germain have joined Juventus and Real Madrid the race to sign Tottenham star Christian Eriksen, and although Mauricio Pochettino will surely not want to lose the Dane, he could use the French side’s interest in him as a bargaining tool in order to bring Adrien Rabiot to north London.
The 23-year-old’s current deal with PSG expires in the summer of 2019, and he is attracting interest from all over Europe.
Barcelona are one of the clubs reportedly keen on signing Rabiot, but Tottenham have been mentioned as potential suitors too.
Spurs would surely be able to steal a march on the Spanish giants in the race for the PSG midfielder by agreeing to give the French side first option on Eriksen.
Eriksen would obviously be worth a lot more than Rabiot, so PSG would have to offer Spurs a substantial amount of cash as well as sending the 23-year-old midfielder to north London.

The one problem that could scupper any potential deal involving the two stars could be the fact that Rabiot might just prefer a switch to Barcelona over Tottenham.
Pochettino is overseeing a hugely exciting project in north London, however, and that cannot be underestimated.
If Spurs do not manage to tie Eriksen down to a new deal, they will surely be forced to sell him, and if PSG come knocking, they cannot afford to miss out of bringing Rabiot in as part exchange.
