Tottenham Hotspur should consider signing Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the January transfer window.

Win-Bissaka shone against Arsenal yesterday, as Palace picked up a 2-2 draw, and the youngster looks to be one of the most exciting defensive talents in the Premier League.

Kieran Trippier is Spurs’ current right-back, and there is little doubting his quality going forward.

But, despite his heroics at the World Cup, Trippier’s defensive vulnerabilities have been exposed on occasion this season.

Many Spurs supporters actually class Trippier as a weak-link in their back-line and bringing in Wan-Bissaka could be a great option.

The 20-year-old Palace man is very reliable defensively, and has made more tackles than any other Premier League player this season.

The right-back’s pace also makes him a threat in attack, and with Spurs so good at developing young players, he could become a frightening prospect in the hands of Pochettino.

Palace, of course, won’t want to sell Wan-Bissaka, given his importance to their team, but if Spurs do have money to spend, then the England under-21 should be near the top of their wishlist.
