Tottenham are reportedly still chasing Giovani Lo Celso.

Tottenham Hotspur’s pursuit of Giovani Lo Celso is for now on pause.
Sky Sports reported last week that talks had stalled with Real Betis due to disagreements over the price.
There has been no tangible progress since, and Spurs might want to reconsider their stance over Bruno Fernandes.
The Telegraph reported Spurs held talks with the Sporting star’s agent last month.
Spurs did not want to get into a bidding war with Manchester United for the attacking midfielder, who scored 32 goals last season in all competitions.
United have been unable to close the deal so far.

Fernandes is reportedly available for cheaper, with Sky reporting he would cost just over £50 million.
BBC Sport reported earlier this summer that Tottenham had a £53 million move for Giovani Lo Celso turned down.
There is now under a month until the transfer window closes, and idealism must turn to pragmatism.
At some point, Tottenham should make a call on Lo Celso, and move for Fernandes if he is the easier deal to complete.
