Tottenham Hotspur should push to sign Lucas Moura permanently.

Lucas Moura #7 of Paris Saint-Germain is pursued by Moustapha Seck #27 of AS Roma during the second half at Comerica Park on July 19, 2017 in Detroit, Michigan.

Tottenham Hotspur made an enquiry over signing Paris Saint-Germain winger Lucas Moura, French website Le10Sport reported last week.

Tottenham are keen to land the Brazilian on loan – but the attacker is worth paying up for.

Le Parisien claimed this week that PSG want 40 million Euros (£35.2m) for the winger, who is determined to move on this January.

Moura is just 25 and has also been interesting Manchester United.

Tottenham have been crying out for a game changing winger, and Lucas Moura is exactly that.

Lucas Moura #7 of Paris Saint-Germain tries to break away from Radja Nainggolan #4 of AS Roma during the second half at Comerica Park on July 19, 2017 in Detroit, Michigan.

He is available from PSG, and Tottenham should be pushing for him now instead of messing about with a loan enquiry.

Moura is quick on his feet, unpredictable, and can stretch defences. He can offer a new dimension to Tottenham’s attack, and create even more space for Harry Kane and Dele Alli to do what they do best.

Tottenham are in a position where if they do not move for Lucas, they risk him joining a top four rival, and they cannot afford for Manchester United to pull even further away.

He is a player with experience and a winning mentality from his time in Paris, where he has played more than 220 games.

He has over 30 caps for Brazil and is a goal threat, netting 18 times for PSG last season before being squeezed out due to Neymar and Kylian Mbappe’s arrival.

In today’s wild transfer market £35 million could represent a snip, and Tottenham should strongly consider paying up.
