The Tottenham Hotspur midfielder has been linked with a move away from the club.

Mousa Dembele has endured a difficult first half of the season at Tottenham Hotspur and there are now suggestions that he could leave the club in this transfer window.
As reported by The Daily Mail, AC Milan are interested in securing a deal for Dembele, who faces renewed competition for a regular starting berth in the Tottenham side with Victor Wanyama back from injury.
Given that Dembele has struggled to produce his best form for Tottenham this season, there does appear some logic behind the idea of letting the Belgian midfielder leave and attempting to bring in a replacement.

However, with Tottenham facing a battle to secure a top four finish in the Premier League and also looking to enjoy lengthy runs in both the Champions League and the FA Cup, it is very important that they keep the bulk of their squad intact.
Even if he isn’t a regular in the starting lineup during the second half of the season, Dembele still has a lot to offer for Tottenham and his experience is a useful asset.

It is certainly clear that Dembele needs to start performing more consistently, but Tottenham shouldn’t let him go at this stage of the season.
