Tottenham Hotspur should be entering the battle for Che Adams.
Birmingham City’s Che Adams is turning heads in the Championship, and the Premier League’s top clubs are now pursuing his signature.
The 22-year-old hadn’t even hit double figures in his two previous campaigns with the Blues, but has now become one of the Championship’s top strikers this season.
Adams has hit 19 goals this season, including eight goals in his last eight games, and Birmingham fended off major Premier League interest during the January transfer window.
However, they still have some way to go, as The Mirror now report that Arsenal and Manchester United are both keen on Adams, and could launch summer bids for him.
With Adams now on the radars of the Premier League elite, Tottenham Hotspur – a club desperate for English players – should certainly be interested in Adams.
Adams scored twice in the League Cup against Spurs back in 2015, and he has now begun to fulfil the potential he showed that night with Sheffield United.
Spurs need to sign English players this summer for Premier League and Champions League quotas, and with another striker needed if Fernando Llorente moves on when his contract expires this summer, Adams fits the bill.
As a young, athletic and promising forward with deadly finishing, Adams is the ideal target to bolster Tottenham’s attack, and they would be foolish not to rival Arsenal for his signature this summer.
