Tottenham are looking for an attacking midfielder.

Tottenham Hotspur have so far been frustrated in their efforts to sign Giovani Lo Celso.
Sky Sports report Tottenham’s opening bid of £53 million was rejected, with Real Betis looking for clubs to meet his £88 million release clause.
This may be too much, and so Spurs should be looking at top class alternatives instead. Sporting’s Bruno Fernandes would be an excellent choice.
Fernandes scored an astounding 28 goals for the Portuguese club this season from midfield and has become one of the most sought after players in Europe.
Portuguese newspaper A Bola report Manchester United are looking to do a deal for around £62 million.
Spurs cannot match United’s wages, but they can offer Champions League football.

If Betis refuse to budge on Lo Celso, and Fernandes’ price remains around the £60 million mark, he would be a tremendous signing for Spurs.
Not only would it add an extra threat to their attack, it will solve the issue surrounding Christian Eriksen’s future if he elects to move on.
At just 24, Fernandes’ best years are ahead of him. He contributed 15 assists last season in addition to his goals. Tottenham really should give him a close look.
