The Barcelona youngster would be a superbly exciting signing for Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino will be looking to freshen up his midfield options this summer, especially with Mousa Dembele’s future in north London growing increasingly more uncertain with every day that passes.
According to respected Italian football expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Spurs are keen to sign Barcelona midfield ace Andre Gomes this summer, but Poch might just be better served in going for one of the Spanish giant’s younger stars instead.
Carles Alena, 20, is one of the most highly sought-after youngsters in the game, and he fits into the category of a typical Pochettino signing much more than Gomes does.

The young Spaniard graduated from Barca’s famed La Masia academy, and has gone on to make seven appearances for the senior side.
Every Love Island contestant if they were an England player – World Cup!
It has been his form for the La Liga giant’s B team that has really caught the eye, however.
From an orthodox central midfield position, Alena has chalked up 21 goals and 14 assists in 89 appearances – a rather impressive tally.
He is incredibly gifted technically, as you would imagine any Barca youngster to be, but he is head and shoulders above those in his age group.

The 20-year-old is cool and composed when in possession, and possesses a keen eye for a killer pass.
His has an eerily similar style to Chelsea star Cesc Fabregas, and he would surely reach even greater heights under the guidance of Pochettino at Tottenham.
Alena would also be a far cheaper option than Gomes for Tottenham, and they should not hesitate to bring the Spanish superstar int he making to north London this summer.
