Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen on signing Ben Chilwell from Leicester City as they look to put a quiet summer behind them.

Chilwell has made an extremely bright start to the season and few could have many complaints with Gareth Southgate’s decision to hand him a chance to represent the Three Lions in their friendly with Switzerland, so it would not be a huge surprise if Spurs fans were pleased with the apparent interest in signing the youngster.
The Telegraph reports that Danny Rose’s future remains uncertain, and while Ben Davies is an extremely talented option, he arguably needs to have another top quality player pushing him.
With that in mind, perhaps Spurs should consider offering Rose to Leicester as part of any potential bid for Chilwell.

The Telegraph reports that Arsenal and Liverpool have both bid for Chilwell in the past, so Spurs need to give themselves every possible advantage – and if they sign Chilwell, keeping Rose seems to make little sense despite how important he has been over the years.
Leicester should jump at the chance to take a player of Rose’s quality, and Spurs would be able to emerge from the uncertainty surrounding the 28-year-old’s future having secured a positive outcome if Rose ultimately helps them land one of the most exciting talents in the Premier League.
