Spurs went ahead with Harry Kane slotting home a fine finish on his left foot, finding the net after strong approach play by Son Heung-min.
Ivan Rakitic rescued a draw for Sevilla though, sending an absolute arrow of a shot beyond Hugo Lloris and into the net.
Neither side could find a winner and it means that Tottenham leave South Korea with one win and one draw before heading to Glasgow to take on Rangers next weekend.
This game won’t mean much in the grand scheme of things but it did mean a reunion with Erik Lamela.

Lamela wasn’t exactly the signing Tottenham thought he would be when he arrived from Roma in 2013, but he still spent eight years with the club.
Lamela didn’t become Tottenham’s new Gareth Bale but he became something of a cult hero; an enigmatic player who could pull off Ramona goals, look completely invisible, ball roll like nobody else and also be a risk of a red card if pushed.
Large sections of the Tottenham fanbase still love Lamela and Saturday gave him a chance to face Spurs, a year since trading North London for Seville.
Lamela renewed his pleasantries with Tottenham players and took to Twitter to show his love for one player in particular.
The Argentinian was seen hugging Son Heung-min and posted a blue love heart next to Son’s name having spent six years together at Tottenham; a touching scene in an otherwise run-of-the-mill pre-season friendly.
