Nice want Sergio Reguilon as they target the Tottenham Hotspur left back alongside Arsenal winger Nicolas Pepe.

Reguilon is unwanted at Tottenham with Antonio Conte keen to move him on before the transfer window slams shut.

The Spaniard joined Tottenham in a £27million deal back in 2020 and was supposed to be the club’s left back of the future.

That just hasn’t happened though and Conte has decided that he doesn’t want Reguilon at Tottenham moving forward.

Reguilon was one of four players left out of the trip to South Korea in pre-season, but whilst Giovani Lo Celso and Tanguy Ndombele have moved on, Reguilon is still at Tottenham.

Nice want Sergio Reguilon

There have been suitors linked over the summer, from Inter Milan to Barcelona and now even Nottingham Forest.

Another name in the mix is Nice, with The Mirror (21/08, p68) reporting that the Ligue 1 club are now interested in signing Reguilon.

Nice have cash through owner Jim Ratcliffe and may now come forward with an offer to sign Reguilon before the transfer deadline.

Nice do have a promising young left back in Melvin Bard but are now looking to add some competition by signing Reguilon.

Whether Reguilon is interested in that move remains to be seen, but this is a big window for Nice.

They have already signed two big names in Kasper Schmeichel and Aaron Ramsey and could have two more coming in having targeted Reguilon and Nicolas Pepe.

Pepe was left out of Arsenal’s squad against Bournemouth on Saturday with Nice in talks to take him on loan.

The Ivorian has previously excelled in France with Lille and could now head back with Nice.

A double raid on North London for Pepe and Reguilon would be a statement of intent from Nice, and the Premier League duo are unlikely to stand in their way.
