Mauricio Pochettino faces a busy summer ahead of him in the transfer window with both incomings and outgoings, as he looks to mould his squad into one that is capable of making a sustained push for the Premier League title this season.
One particular area of the Spurs squad that needs to be addressed is the left-back department, with Danny Rose’s future in north London uncertain to say the very least.
The £40 million-rated 27-year-old is wanted by Manchester United, Manchester City and Everton, according to a report from the Sun, with all three clubs thought to be huge fans of the England international.

If Rose does eventually leave, Tottenham should consider a move for Valencia left-back José Luis Gayà, who could be available for around £30 million this summer, according to a report from the Sun.
Selling Rose and bringing in Gaya would be smart from a business perspective, considering the fact that it would net them a profit of around £10 million, and that will surely appeal to Daniel Levy.
The Spaniard is also four years younger than the Tottenham left-back, meaning that he has more years ahead of him within the game.
Gaya is an attacking full-back in every sense, and offers just as much for his team in the final third as he does defensively.
He would fit perfectly into Pochettino’s high-octane setup at Spurs, and for just £30 million, he would surely prove to be a great signing for the Lilywhites, if they do in fact manage to bring him to the club this summer.
