Fernando Llorente could leave Spurs to rejoin Athletic Bilbao.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Fernando Llorente could reportedly rejoin Athletic Bilbao this summer according to recent reports, but Spurs may be able to use such a deal to their advantage.
Spanish newspaper Marca claim the £12million summer signing Swansea could return to Bilbao, five years after leaving the Basque-based club to join Italian champions Juventus.
Llorente, 33, has failed to provide adequate back-up for main man Harry Kane, who has surpassed expectation once again to fire 37 goals in 44 league and cup encounters this season.

If Spain international Llorente is set to leave, then Spurs could look to work the deal in their favour by reignite 2016 interest in Bilbao speed machine Inaki Williams.
The Guardian claimed two years ago that Spurs, along with Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City had been scouting 23-year-old Williams – then 21 – as the Bilbao-born attacker starred in Spanish football.
Able to play anywhere in the front three, Williams would be able to offer cover for Kane but also play out wide, where he has starred for Bilbao this season – scoring 10 goals in 48 league and cup encounters.

Back in June, Williams added another four years onto his Bilbao stay, meaning he is contracted with the La Liga side until 2025. ESPN claim he has a release clause of £70million, which will rise to £95million.
If Bilbao are serious about re-signing Llorente, Spurs should look to pursue a cash-plus-player offer for Williams including target man Llorente in a move that would significantly improve Tottenham’s chances of Premier League glory.
