Tottenham Hotspur are being linked with another Celtic player having allegedly scouted striker Kyogo Furuhashi.
Ange Postecoglou is looking towards the Scottish market with Tottenham Hotspur thought to be watching Celtic hitman Kyogo Furuhashi.
That is according to The Sun, who claim that Postecoglou wants Tottenham to be fully aware of players in Scotland.
Postecoglou only left Scottish football over the summer, quitting Celtic in order to take the Tottenham job.
The Australian still wants to know about all the top players north of the border though – including one of his former Celtic stars.
Tottenham Hotspur watching Celtic striker Kyogo Furuhashi
The Sun suggest that Tottenham scout Ian Broomfield was sent on a four-day scouting trip to Scotland.
Broomfield is understood to have watched Celtic striker Kyogo Furuhashi in action.
Kyogo was always going to be linked with Tottenham when Postecoglou moved to North London.
Postecoglou brought Kyogo to Celtic in the summer of 2021 having been dazzled by his goalscoring feats for Vissel Kobe in Japan.
The Spurs boss hardly needs a reminder of Kyogo’s quality, but Tottenham appear to be checking up on him as they consider a potential bid for the Celtic ace.

Another Celtic player linked with Tottenham
Postecoglou resisted the temptation to raid his former club in the summer transfer window, maybe out of respect for the Bhoys.
2024 may be a different story though with Kyogo now a target to bolster Tottenham strike force.
Son Heung-min has been shining up top but a natural striker like Kyogo – hailed as a ‘wonderful talent’ by Kenny Dalglish – may be welcomed.
TEAMtalk also suggested just a few days ago that Postecoglou fancies taking Celtic playmaker Matt O’Riley to Tottenham.
We can’t see a double Tottenham raid in January but Celtic may now be on red alert after these Tottenham rumours.
