Tottenham Hotspur are looking for a new striker this summer – and reported target Sasa Kalajdzic continues to be praised over at Stuttgart.
Harry Kane is nearing his 30’s now and yet Tottenham have been largely unable to figure out how to give him competition.
The only strikers signed permanently during Kane’s rise at Tottenham have been Clinton N’Jie, Vincent Janssen and Fernando Llorente.
Remarkably, those three strikers tallied four league goals for Tottenham – combined! N’Jie didn’t score at all whilst Janssen and Llorente only bagged two goals each.
Carlos Vinicius did arrive on loan last season, but was only really a threat in cup games rather than in the Premier League.
Tottenham just haven’t been able to solve the conundrum of giving Kane a quality striker to support him in attack.
Fabio Paratici may have a name in mind though as Kicker claim that Tottenham fancy signing Stuttgart striker Kalajdzic this summer.
Kalajdzic, 24, has been in great form for Stuttgart. With four goals and one assist in his last six games, Kalajdzic has given Stuttgart hope of survival.
Yet with his contract expiring in 2023, Kalajdzic looks likely to move on this summer and Tottenham are in the race.
The Austrian hitman has been likened to Peter Crouch due to hi gangly 6ft 7in frame, and he has now been hailed for his aerial prowess.

Pundit and journalist Marcel Reif has now been quoted by Bild as saying that he thinks Kalajdzic can do ‘crazy things’ in the air around the goal.
Reif noted that Kalajdzic could be ideal for a team who play wide and get the ball into the box.
That’s interesting as Tottenham have been profiting from crossing the ball regularly thanks to Antonio Conte’s wing back approach.
Reif thinks Kalajdzic could be make sense for Borussia Dortmund, branding him a ‘very interesting’ player – something Tottenham seemingly agree with amid their interest.
“He can do crazy things in the air,” said Reif. “But he can also handle the ball. This is a very interesting player that would give something for Dortmund if they play this type of football with good, fast wide play,” he added.
