Rio Ferdinand has praised Harry Kane whilst suggesting he is being ignored because of Erling Haaland’s form at Manchester City.
Haaland has been nothing short of ridiculous since joining City.
The Norwegian has now racked up 15 goals in just nine Premier League games, blowing all records away.
The scary thing is that Haaland is just 22 and he could get even better, leaving top-flight defences absolutely terrified of the Premier League’s new striking king.

Haaland has been so good that we’re maybe not quite so aware of other attacking stars right now.
Aleksandar Mitrovic and Ivan Toney have quietly racked up six goals already this season whilst Roberto Firmino – a player some thought was in decline – is right there with them on six goals.
Between them and Haaland is Harry Kane, with the Tottenham hitman sat on a hugely impressive eight goals and one assist in nine outings for Spurs.
Kane, 29, was on the scoresheet again on Saturday as he stooped to head home Son Heung-min’s cross against Brighton and Hove Albion.
That gave Tottenham a 1-0 win at the Amex Stadium with Kane’s strong start to the season continuing.
Rio Ferdinand has now praised Kane, telling Vibe With Five that he thinks the Tottenham striker would be considered as the best in the world if it wasn’t for Haaland.
Ferdinand added that Kane is now being ‘ignored’ because Haaland is dominating so many headlines, despite being so good himself.
“If Haaland wasn’t here, we would be talking about ‘oh he’s the best number nine in the world, look at the stats’ but because Haaland is just blowing people out of the water, he gets ignored,” said Ferdinand.
Kane is no stranger to goalscoring competition in the Premier League but Haaland is something completely different; an absolute goalscoring phenomenon.
It already looks like nobody will catch Haaland in the race for the Golden Boot this season and we’re not even at the midway point of October yet.
Kane has a big ask to somehow get ahead of Haaland but he does deserve some appreciation too having continued to shine for Tottenham.
