Tottenham are reportedly pursuing a move to sign Jack Harrison from Leeds after an eye-catching couple of seasons in the Premier League. A player that Patrick Vieira branded “really talented” earlier this season.

Harrison, 25, has been overshadowed by Brazil international Raphinha at Leeds since the ex-Rennes star joined Leeds in the summer of 2020. He is expected to leave for a fee north of £60million in the coming months.

Harrison could also go. He has 22 goal involvements in his 63 Premier League games since Leeds were promoted – scoring 13, and creating nine. Harrison cost Leeds £11m last summer (BBC) from Manchester City.

The Telegraph report that Tottenham are looking at a move for Harrison. Earlier this season, Crystal Palace boss and Arsenal legend Vieira was full of praise for a player he previously managed while New York City gaffer.

“He’s a really talented young player who just needed to find the right place to play and to challenge himself because his work ethic is one of the best in the game,” Vieira said in January, as per Football London.

Tottenham eye Harrison: Leeds would be losing a crucial component

As aforementioned, Harrison is somewhat underrated at Leeds. Not only does he score and create goals, but the winger’s work rate – as Vieira states – is second to none. His perseverance in turn, has attracted Conte and Spurs.

Tottenham are likely to want him due to his hard-working nature, his ability to probably play as a left wing-back and cover for Son Heung-min. For Leeds to sell Harrison, it would have to be an offer north of £20million.
