Tottenham are again interested in Renato Sanches as they consider a summer move to sign the Lille midfielder for Antonio Conte.

Tottenham are into next season’s Campions League having secured a top-four finish on Sunday afternoon.

We now look set to see a huge summer window for Tottenham.

They have the lure of Champions League football, the financial benefits that come with qualification and a £150million cash injection from ENIC.

Big signings are now expected this summer and Sanches appears to be one of Fabio Paratici’s targets.

Tottenham are again interested in Renato Sanches

The Daily Mail report that Sanches is one of a host of targets Tottenham are looking to lure to North London this summer.

Other midfielders like Christian Eriksen and James Ward-Prowse are mentioned as being on Tottenham’s wish list.

Sanches is a fascinating target though and this isn’t the first time Tottenham have been interested.

Spanish newspaper AS reported in December that Tottenham were Arsenal’s main competition for Sanches.

There were also reports in France last year suggesting that Tottenham were keen on Sanches.

Here we are again then, a third window in a row with Tottenham allegedly looking towards the Portuguese ace.

Sanches, 24, was supposed to be the next big thing when he merged with Benfica.

Yet a big move to Bayern Munich didn’t go well and neither did a torrid loan spell with Swansea City.

Sanches has got his career back on track with Lille and recorded five assists in 25 Ligue 1 games this season.

A true box-to-box midfielder with the ability to make things happen going forward, Sanches could be a more dynamic midfield option than Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg or Rodrigo Bentancur.

Hailed as ‘terrific’ by Jermaine Jenas at Euro 2020, now seems ready for another big move having but his Bayern blues behind him.

Tottenham appear to be keen, but you would imagine that he is just one of a number of players on Paratici’s radar.
