Tottenham Hotspur remain in pursuit of a new manager after parting company with Antonio Conte in March.
Plenty of coaches have been linked with the Spurs reins, including Mauricio Pochettino and Julian Nagelsmann.
Lately, there has been a lot of praise going the way of Arne Slot, another reported Tottenham target.
The Times reported in March that the Dutchman is on the radar of the Tottenham board.
Slot is doing an excellent job at Feyenoord, taking them to the top of the Eredivisie table.
And Spurs cult hero Rafael van der Vaart reckons the 44-year-old would be ideal for the North Londoners.
“I think he is one of the biggest talents as a coach, he would be an ideal [appointment],” he told BBC Radio 5 Live.
“I think it’s a good option for Tottenham.”
Van der Vaart isn’t the only individual who has spoken highly of Slot in recent weeks.
Dutch journalist Marcel van der Kraan recently provided a glowing endorsement of the 44-year-old.
He described Slot as a “maniac” who plays “ultra-attacking” football, and likened him to Pep Guardiola.
“The best thing about Arne Slot is that he is probably the best attacking coach I have seen in the last 35-40 years at Feyenoord,” he told talkSPORT.
“He is very similar to Pep Guardiola, his ideas are very similar, he is a massive fan of Pep and he plays the same time.
“He goes ultra-attacking, he is almost like a maniac.
“Not on the touchline but it is fantastic to see how he has turned an average side into a wonderful attacking machine.”

Tottenham fans haven’t had much to cheer about lately, with things seemingly going from bad to worse at N17.
However, a ‘stellar‘ manager like Slot would no doubt reinvigorate the Spurs fanbase.
Not only does he play exciting football, but he also knows what it takes to win leagues and trophies.
In addition, Slot is a young, hungry manager who’s climbing up the career ladder.
A club like Spurs would be a step up for him, and maybe he can do what Mauricio Pochettino did in the 2010s.
