Tottenham kick off their Europa League campaign in Bulgaria against Lokomotiv Plovdiv this afternoon.

It could be a grueling European campaign for Jose Mourinho’s sides, adding extra fixtures to an already frantic season.

Jose Mourinho has already said Harry Kane will play the match – and against Southampton at the weekend – but who else will join him in the starting XI?

Dele Alli and Toby Alderweireld are among the eight players who have not traveled to Bulgaria, but it should still be a strong Spurs side.

We’ve got Joe Hart down for a Tottenham debut, and it will be interesting to see if Mourinho makes the Englishman his cup goalkeeper.

The game looks ideal for Ryan Sessegnon to come in at left back, giving Ben Davies a rest.

Tottenham Hotspur’s summer signings

  1. Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg

    £15 million; Southampton

  2. Joe Hart

    Free

  3. Matt Doherty

    £13 million; Wolves

  4. Sergio Reguilon

    £25 million; Real Madrid

  5. Gareth Bale

    Loan; Real Madrid

  6. Carlos Vinicius

    Loan; Benfica

  7. Joe Rodon

    £12 million; Swansea

Tottenham’s official website says £27 million (Sky Sports) man Giovani Lo Celso is back fit and we expect him to play from the start.

Either side of Kane, there could be changes. Steven Bergwijn and Erik Lamela didn’t start against Everton and could freshen up the frontline.

Whichever side Mourinho will choose, it will have enough quality to get into the next round provided his players do a professional job.
