The Spurs birthday boys will be hoping for three gift-wrapped points against the Gunners on North London Derby day in the Premier League.

It’s North London derby day and Tottenham Hotspur will be hoping to get back to winning ways and provide yet another rubber stamp in their claim of being the area’s top team when they host bitter rivals Arsenal at Wembley Stadium.
Admittedly, it’s not been the best seven days for Spurs, who followed up a shock 2-1 defeat to Premier League strugglers Burnley last weekend with a calamitous 2-0 loss at a Chelsea side that, ahead of kickoff, was deemed in disarray given the fallout from the Carabao Cup final.
However, derby day is a special occasion, and Tottenham’s players will no doubt up their game considerably in a bid to give their fans local bragging rights – it’s effectively a best of three this season, with the Gunners winning in the league reverse but Spurs triumphing in the Carabao Cup fifth round.
Tottenham were reminded of just what a good squad they have at present when Mauricio Pochettino and Son Heung-min were recognised for their exploits this term at the 2019 London Football Awards and it just so happens that today, NLD day, Poch celebrates his 47th birthday and Toby Alderweireld celebrates his 30th.
