Tottenham Hotspur have been on fire of late, unlike their fierce rivals Arsenal.

Spurs have really kicked on from the start of 2017, whilst Arsenal have struggled, and the Lilywhites currently sit three places and six points ahead of the Gunners in the Premier League table.

Arsene Wenger’s men seem totally disjointed, with and undercurrent of the players downing tools, whilst Pochettino’s troops have exhibited a great togetherness throughout their entire campaign thus far.

The two clubs’ recent form has been like chalk and cheese.

And one particular statistic highlights just how contrasting their fortunes have been since the turn of the year.

In eight Premier League games since January 1st, Arsenal have scored 16 goals.

During the same period, Dele Alli and Harry Kane have scored 18 goals between them.

And since the turn of the year, Wenger’s men have taken just 13 points, whilst Pochettino’s side have racked up an impressive tally of 20 points.

With roughly a third of the season still remaining, however, there will surely be plenty of twists and turns along the way.

But if Kane and Alli continue in their current vein, then it will be extremely hard for Arsenal to catch Spurs.
