Tottenham Hotspur are through to the fourth round of the EFL Cup.

Tottenham Hotspur edged their EFL Cup third round tie against Barnsley courtesy of a 65th-minute strike from Dele Alli.
The Spurs midfielder has come in for some criticism in recent weeks after a run of below-par performances. However he proved his worth to score what proved to be the winner after fine work from right-back Kieran Trippier.

Tottenham have struggled for victories at Wembley in the league, but they have made it two from two in the cup competitions, following up their win against Borussia Dortmund in the Championship League with this success against the Tykes.
After the match some of Tottenham’s players took to Twitter to have their say including captain for the night Jan Vertonghen.
Fellow Belgian Mousa Dembele also had his say while Alli admitted he was happy to get the vital goal, before looking ahead to the next round.
First up for Tottenham is a league game against West Ham United before they try to make it six points from six in Europe with a trip to Apoel Nicosia.
