The feud between Tottenham star Richarlison and Sky Sports pundit and Liverpool icon Jamie Carragher has been ongoing for some time now – and the Brazil ace has now re-opened that feud with a post on his Instagram story.
Richarlison, 25, joined Spurs from Everton in the summer. That may have seen the constant back and forth die down. Of course, Richarlison would no longer be playing for the rivals of the club that Carragher played for 737 times.
The feud began after Richarlison told Carragher to wash his mouth out following a 3-2 win over Everton over Palace. The victory kept Everton in the Premier League – after Carragher had accused Richarlison of going down too easily.
Having told Carragher to wash his mouth out, and Carragher appreciating the response by saying he would call out pundits during his playing career – the pundit then criticised Richarlison’s showboating in a 2-0 win over Forest.
Then, against Forest on Wednesday night, Oriel Mangala was sent off for a tackle on Richarlison. For some reason, Richarlison took to Instagram – criticising Carragher. As per the Echo, he said the pundit’s “silence is deafening”.

Tottenham star Richarlison has re-opened Carragher feud
The good news for Richarlison is, that while Spurs suffered a surprise defeat, it was the Brazilian’s first game back from injury. Just in time, for the World Cup. Spurs take on Leeds on Saturday, ahead of Brazil’s first game against Serbia.
The 38-time Brazil international could win his 39th cap on November 24, but with Brazil’s attacking options, he may find himself on the bench – given his injury. Brazil also boast Neymar, Raphinha, Viniciur Jr, Antony and plenty more.
Whether Carragher’s verdict on Mangala’s tackle is really necessary, is another question. The right decision was made to show Mangala a second yellow card. It was a bit of a scissor tackle from the Forest midfielder.
