Hector Bellerin is closing in on signing for Sporting – and that will free up Pedro Porro to complete his move to Tottenham Hotspur.
That’s according to The Athletic’s David Ornstein, who claims that Sporting are ‘close’ to agreeing a deal with Barcelona for Bellerin.
It’s suggested that Bellerin would head to Lisbon on loan until the end of the season.
Sporting would then have their replacement for wing back Pedro Porro, who is on the verge of signing for Tottenham.
Sporting have been chasing a replacement in recent days and actually went for Brighton and Hove Albion ace Tariq Lamptey.
Yet with a loan deal not possible there, Sporting have turned to Bellerin and appear to have a deal on the verge of completion.

Tottenham have been chasing Porro all month and appear to finally be closing in.
Spanish newspaper AS reported on Saturday that Porro will be flying to London shortly having played for Sporting in the Taca da Liga final against Porto.
Tottenham will be paying a total of around £44million for Porro, spreading the payment across various instalments.
Porro has agreed a deal with Tottenham until 2028 and Spurs seemingly have the green light to finalise the deal with Bellerin heading to Lisbon.
Tottenham probably didn’t expect help from a former Arsenal man in their pursuit of star wing back Porro.
Bellerin left Arsenal last summer as he returned to former club Barcelona, but he is already on his way to Sporting in search of first-team action.
Arsenal fans may hope that Bellerin pulls out at the last minute just to wind Tottenham up, but that doesn’t seem likely as one Spaniard gets ready to replace another.
Tottenham fans now have Bellerin to thank for getting this deal over the line – but don’t expect those niceties to last very long.
