Tottenham Hotspur talent Kazaiah Sterling followed up his Sunderland move with another bit of good news today.
What a month it has been for Tottenham Hotspur youngster Kazaiah Sterling.
The Spurs striker is set for the experience of playing regular and senior football for a major club after joining League One side Sunderland on a half-season loan last week.
That came on the back of the 20-year-old making his domestic debut for Tottenham in their FA Cup defeat at Crystal Palace, with a cameo against APOEL in the Champions League last term being his only other appearance.
And to top it all of, he has won the Player of the Month award for January in the Premier League 2 after a series of glittering performances for the Lilywhites’ reserves.

Time will tell whether Sterling has the talent to make it at Tottenham in the long term, but the early signs aren’t all that promising.
Mauricio Pochettino needed a striker in January after Harry Kane was ruled out until March and instead of promoting Sterling, he brought Vincent Janssen in from the cold, after previously claiming that the Dutchman was more or less finished in North London.
Sterling is still young, but he’s old enough that Pochettino would bring him into the senior set-up if the ability was there but, at the moment, it might not be.
That being said, a good five months at Sunderland, playing with and against experienced players every weekend, could do him the world of good.
