Tottenham Hotspur didn’t dismiss an approach from the agent of Georginio Wijnaldum over a possible January loan transfer for the Paris Saint-Germain midfielder, according to 90min.
The Dutchman’s agent has reportedly contacted more than half the Premier League to discuss a return to England next month. Wijnaldum only moved to France in the summer on a three-year, £300,000-a-week contract after leaving Liverpool once his Reds deal expired in June.
But PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino hasn’t taken to the 31-year-old, leaving Wijnaldum increasingly concerned about his lack of minutes. The 85-cap international has even discussed his plight with the Parc des Princes hierarchy after serving a bit-part role.

Wijnaldum has so only started ten of his 20 PSG appearances across all competitions. Of his outings, 14 have come in Ligue 1, but Pochettino has only started him seven times.
Les Parisiens accept they will have to cover a substantial part of the Dutchman’s wages in a loan transfer. But his agent is sounding out any interest from England and in Europe.
Tottenham, Everton, Newcastle United, West Ham, Leicester and Aston Villa didn’t reject Wijnaldum’s agent’s advances, according to the report. Arsenal also didn’t say no to a deal, after Sky Sports noted the Gunners were a potential landing spot should PSG elect to grant a temporary move.
Wijnaldum’s agent will now hold further talks with Paris Saint-Germain over a possible move in the upcoming January transfer window.

Tottenham open to loan transfer for ‘sensational’ PSG ace Wijnaldum
Wijnaldum was a mainstay of the Liverpool line-up last season, having started 34 of their Premier League games. He also featured from the bench in the four he didn’t start.
Jurgen Klopp still sung the Dutchman’s praises last term, too, with the German dubbing him “sensational”, via the Daily Mail. Wijnaldum could now try to rediscover that level back in the Premier League.
Tottenham my be open to signing Wijnaldum on loan, perhaps if Paris Saint-Germain agree to pay some of his wages. But Antonio Conte will have a lot of competition for his signature.
