Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace in the summer transfer window, according to a report.
Tottenham willing to pay £45m for Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi
Journalist Steve Kay has told Football Transfers that Tottenham are keen on securing the services of centre-back Guehi from London and Premier League rivals Palace.
While the Eagles are willing to sell the 22-year-old, they want as much as £65 million for him.
Tottenham are willing to cough up to £45 million in transfer fees for the England international defender, described as “an exciting talent” by Palace chairman Steve Parish on the club’s official website in July 2021.
Kay said: “Spurs are interested in signing Marc Guehi in the summer.
“Palace want £65m. Spurs apparently won’t pay that – they’re looking at paying around £45m.”

HITC Verdict: Too expensive
In our view, Tottenham Hotspur should not pay £65 million for Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi.
It is too much.
Yes, the 22-year-old is a massive talent who has done well in the Premier League.
And he is also an England international.
However, for £65 million, Tottenham would be able to sign better and more mature centre-backs.
Now, of course, Palace will want to get as much as they can for the youngster.
Just because the Eagles are looking for £65 million does not mean that Tottenham or any other club will pay that fee.
