Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur are willing to send Djed Spence out on loan in the January transfer window, according to journalist Dean Jones in GiveMeSport.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has reported that Tottenham are willing to let Spence leave on loan just months after signing him from Middlesbrough.
The full-back, who spent last season on loan at Nottingham Forest, cost Tottenham an initial £12.5 million in transfer fees (Sky Sports) in the summer of 2022.
Tottenham head coach Conte has said on more than one occasion that it was not he who signed Spence, but the club’s Managing Director of Football, Fabio Paratici.
Tottenham could send Djed Spence out on loan
Jones told GiveMeSport about Spence: “They’re open to letting him go, but it needs to be to a club that can quickly get him up to the levels to play in the same sort of system that is going to help him at Spurs, so it’s not as simple as just finding him a loan deal.“

Sensible decision
In our view, it would make sense for Tottenham Hotspur to send Djed Spence out on loan in the January transfer window.
The 22-year-old is not going to get much playing time for Spurs between now and the end of the season, and there is no point in keeping him on the bench.
The youngster has played only three minutes in the Premier League and has got just 25 minutes of action in the Carabao Cup for Spurs so far this season.
