The Athletic are reporting this afternoon that Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Raphinha from Leeds United in the summer transfer window.
The report has claimed that Leeds are open to selling the Brazil international winger if they get the right offer.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham all are claimed to be keen on the 25-year-old.
A former Tottenham player will be pleased to read the rumour.
And that’s Jamie O’Hara.
The former Tottenham player is a big fan of Raphinha, and he publicly said during the past season that he would love Spurs to sign the Brazilian.
O’Hara said about Raphinha on talkSPORT (9:49am, January 17, 2022): “He glides past people, the way he moves, the free kick he almost scored. Everything about his game…
“I would love him at Spurs, I would love him. But I don’t know if he would ever come, and Leeds definitely wouldn’t sell him. Brilliant player.”

Could Tottenham Hotspur sign Raphinha from Leeds United?
In our view, Tottenham Hotspur could be able to sign Raphinha from Leeds United in the summer transfer window.
The winger would see a move to Spurs as a step-up, and we do not think that Leeds would stop in his way if Tottenham met their demands.
In our opinion, Chelsea, and not Arsenal, would be Tottenham’s main Premier League rivals for the winger.
The Blues are one of the biggest clubs in the world and could be able to meet Leeds’s transfer demands as well as pay the winger a huge wage.
