Tottenham Hotspur are frustrated with Hugo Lloris’ situation, with the goalkeeper still at the club.
According to The Guardian, Hugo Lloris is now at risk of not playing a game again until January as he struggles to secure a move away from Tottenham.
Tottenham annoyed with Hugo Lloris
The Guardian’s report claims that Tottenham are frustrated with the fact that their goalkeeper remains in north London despite having had more than enough time to find a new club.
With most transfer windows around the world now closed, the 36-year-old’s options are limited.
It means he could end up staying at Tottenham and, as a result, not play a minute of football until January, when everyone starts trading again.
Spurs signed Guglielmo Vicario to be their No.1 with the assumption that Lloris would definitely be going, while Fraser Forster is currently the Italian’s deputy.
Hugo Lloris situation a mess
It is really strange that it has come down to this. Lloris is a top goalkeeper who was literally Tottenham’s first choice between the sticks last term.

How he has not left the north London outfit yet is mystifying. The World Cup winner told French outlet Nice-Matin back in June that he was seeking a new challenge, so it is not like he has just started looking for a move now.
Given that Lloris is still a Premier League-level shot-stopper, he may not fancy a move to Saudi Arabia or Turkey, with the transfer window in both of those countries still open.
But if the £100,000-a-week (Spotrac) star wants to play football again in 2023, then he may have to join a club in either the Saudi Pro League or Super Lig.
