Tottenham Hotspur are now actively looking to sell Lucas Moura and Tanguy Ndombele to raise funds for Antonio Conte to step up his interest in singing Roma winger Nicolo Zaniolo.
That’s according to Calciomercato, who report Conte has a strong affection for the forward and wants him in north London. But before the Italian can chase a deal, managing director Fabio Paratici must clear space in Spurs’ squad and increase the capital they have to hand.

- Jude Bellingham and Celtic ace lead Birmingham XI if they ket their top stars
Conte considers Zaniolo to be his next top target following Djed Spence finalising his move from Middlesbrough for £12.5m, rising to £20m. The wing-back follows Tottenham’s deals for Ivan Perisic, Fraser Forster, Yves Bissouma, Richarlison plus loanee Clement Lenglet.

Paratici in Italy for Roma talks over Tottenham interest in Zaniolo transfer
Paratici has travelled to Italy this week to hold discussions with Roma over Conte’s interest in Zaniolo’s potential summer transfer. But the Spurs chief is only testing the waters for his move, before ramping up attempts to find potential new homes for Moura and Ndombele.
Conte rarely showed faith in Moura after taking charge of Tottenham last season, with the Brazilian holding a sporadic presence. He started just 11 of his potential 28 Premier League games, with a further 14 outings from the bench, in which he scored twice and assisted six.
Ndombele also fell out of favour at Spurs following Nuno Espirito Santo’s sacking, with the Frenchman appearing in just three of a potential 10 Premier League games for 80 minutes under Conte. He also left north London this January to join Lyon on loan until the summer.

Conte ready to see Moura and Ndombele leave Spurs for good this summer
Now, Conte is prepared to see both Moura and Ndombele leave Tottenham permanently to step up his interest in Zaniolo. Spurs must raise funds before holding further talks with Roma as CalcioMercatoWeb report the Serie A side want €60m (£51m) to sell the forward.
Tottenham have been in talks with Roma to sound out their demands for Zaniolo for some weeks, with Il Messaggero citing an approach last month. Conte is keen to sign the Italian, who Fabio Capello has called a ‘genius’, after he hit eight goals and nine assists last term.
