Tottenham Hotspur are expected to discuss the signing of Barcelona defender Clement Lenglet during their time in Catalunya.
The future of Clement Lenglet is likely to be discussed as Tottenham Hotspur take on Barcelona this evening.
That is according to Catalan newspaper Mundo Deportivo, who claim that Barcelona are trying to move Lenglet on.
It’s stated that a move to Tottenham looked to be on track earlier this summer but Spurs are now trying to grind the price down.
The report claims that Tottenham are still interested and talks are expected to take place tonight.
Tottenham are taking on Barcelona in the Joan Gamper Trophy this evening and a meeting over Lenglet will take place.
Barcelona will hope that this will finally unlock Lenglet’s future and finally get a move to Tottenham sorted out.
Lenglet is understood to be keen on returning to Tottenham and has even rejected an offer from Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr.

Clement Lenglet a rather uninspiring Tottenham Hotspur target
Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou admitted on Sunday that a couple of centre backs could be arriving this week.
Micky van de Ven was one of them and the Dutchman has today completed his move from Wolfsburg to North London.
Postecoglou wants another centre back and Lenglet could be the man with Tottenham heading to Barcelona.
We think this is a rather uninspiring move though given that Lenglet spent last season on loan at Tottenham and wasn’t exactly impressive.

Lenglet felt like a stop-gap; a short-term option to give Tottenham a left-footed centre back until a longer-term talent – like Van de Ven – could come in.
The Frenchman doesn’t feel like a great fit for Postecoglou’s high line in terms of his pace to recover, something Postecoglou has highlighted as a key attribute.
Lenglet may be cheap but he won’t improve the quality of the Tottenham lineup, he doesn’t fit a homegrown quota, he doesn’t have potential for resale.
We just can’t get behind this deal but maybe Tottenham will push for a deal during their time in Catalunya this week.
