Tottenham Hotspur should attempt to bring the Nice midfielder to the club this summer.

Mauricio Pochettino has a lot of work to do at Tottenham this summer, if he is to take his group of players to that elusive next level, and guide them to their first major trophy since 2008.
One particular area where the Argentine will want to strengthen is his midfield department, with Mousa Dembele’s exit from the club looking ever more likely with every day that passes.
Spurs have been linked with a move for Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish, according to the Sun, with Daniel Levy preparing a take it or leave it final £15 million bid for the midfielder.
Whilst the 22-year-old is undoubtedly extremely talented, it could be argued that Tottenham don’t actually need another attack minded player, and that they should be focusing their attention on a box-to-box type midfielder.

Enter Jean Michaël Seri…
According to the Sun, the 16-capped Ivory Coast has a £35 million release clause inserted into his current contract with Nice, and he possesses all of the attributes that Spurs will need, if and when Dembele leaves.
Seri is incredibly energetic, and offers just as much to his team offensively as he does defensively.
The 10 assists that he notched up for Nice in 43 outings last term are evidence of this.

The Lilywhites will reportedly face competition from the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal for the 26-year-old, but the exciting project currently underway at Tottenham should be enough to entice him into a switch to north London.
And if Pochettino does manage to bring Seri to Tottenham, it could turn out to be a signing of real significance for the club.
