Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele will stay at the club beyond transfer deadline day, according to The Athletic.

It is being reported this morning that Ndombele asked Tottenham to leave when he returned for pre-season.
The 24-year-old midfielder wanted a move to Real Madrid, Barcelona or Bayern Munich.
Tottenham have been working hard to find a new club for Ndombele.
However, Spurs have been unable to do a swap or a loan deal, and the North London club have now decided that the France international will stay.
Tottenham are stronger with Tanguy Ndombele
Ndombele has not had the best of times at Spurs so far.
The France international has shown his quality on occasions, but the former Lyon star has not always been consistent.
The 24-year-old has scored five goals in 54 Premier League appearances for Spurs so far in his career.
Tottenham have won all three of their opening Premier League games without Ndombele, but it is very early in the season.
The Frenchman gives another valuable option to head coach Nuno.
Spurs are better with Ndombele in the squad.
Tottenham are aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season, and Ndombele will play his role in that quest.
