Tottenham Hotspur should join the race and rival Chelsea for the signing of Lorenzo Pellegrini.

Pellegrini is thought to be one of the brightest young players in Italy, and has already made one appearance for the Italy national team.
The 21-year-old has a buy-out clause of £21million which makes him hugely attractive.
Tottenham must not waste this opportunity, and they should join the race in the January transfer window.
Pellegrini is a highly talented central midfielder who can also operate as a defensive midfielder. He is very good at passing, and has an eye for making the killer pass.
He is good at taking shots, and has scored two goals already in the Serie A this season. Pellegrini’s strength lies in reading the game, and that is why he is very good at ball interception rather than making tackles.
In theory, he should be an ideal long-term replacement for Mousa Dembele at Tottenham. His playing style – good with the ball on his feet, and can dictate the tempo of the game – just fits the bill – what Mauricio Pochettino likes to see in a central midfielder.
He could be a masterstroke signing for Spurs if they can lure him to the north London club. Alongside Tottenham’s exciting young midfielder Harry Winks, he could form a lethal partnership in the midfield for years to come.
