Tottenham Hotspur may need to sell Fernando Llorente this summer.

Tottenham Hotspur have yet to make a new signing this summer, and whilst Mauricio Pochettino is expected to be active in the transfer market, there may be a number of outgoings too.
Toby Alderweireld, Danny Rose, Mousa Dembele and Victor Wanyama have all been linked with exits at some stage of the summer, but Pochettino and Daniel Levy must now look to offload Fernando Llorente.
The 33-year-old striker was seen as a smart capture from Swansea City last summer; after all, the Spaniard had hit 15 goals in his first Premier League season, and looked to be ideal cover for Harry Kane in the Spurs attack.
However, Llorente struggled last term, scoring just five goals in all competitions last season, whilst he made just one Premier League start and was even overlooked in favour of Son Heung-min when Kane suffered an injury.
Many expected Llorente to leave this summer, but the issue has now become a little more pressing for Spurs after comments made by Llorente’s agent and brother Chus on Friday.
Chus Llorente told Calcio Napoli 24 that there is no way Llorente will be renewing his deal with Spurs, as his contract expires at the end of the season, sparking interest in Italy for the ex-Juventus striker.

That leaves Tottenham sure in the knowledge that Llorente would be leaving for free, and given that finding a buyer shouldn’t be too difficult for the centre forward, recouping a fee must be paramount.
Levy won’t want to see a player he spent money on leaving the club for nothing, and in order to get some sort of value back on a disappointing signing, Spurs must look to sell Llorente this summer – while they still can.
