Tottenham Hotspur have been linked to Maxwel Cornet.

Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing a move for Lyon attacker Maxwel Cornet, according to The Mirror,
Cornet, 21, can play up front but is used mostly as a right winger for the French side.
The young forward was a French youth international but last year committed his future to Ivory Coast.
He did this at the same time as Wilfried Zaha, but perhaps most notably for Spurs is a potential link up with Ivory Coast regular Serge Aurier down the right hand side.

Cornet and Aurier represent the future for Ivory Coast at international level in their positions, and the winger’s arrival could help get the best out of the £23 million full-back Tottenham signed from PSG in the summer.
The attacker has scored two goals this season for Lyon and provided three assists.
Spurs are crying out for creative players, with their lack of width evident against Manchester City at the weekend.
Aurier was not selected to start and replacement Kieran Trippier was poor.

Sticking international teammates Aurier and Cornet into that team could have provided a very different threat and put City more on the backfoot.
Spurs are still working out the best plan for the right-back position, frequently swapping between Aurier and Trippier, meaning a lack of consistency at the position.
Signing Cornet could provide Aurier with more opportunities to show what he can do as they grow together at international level over the coming years too.
