Summer Tottenham target Bruma moved to RB Leipzigg instead.

One of Tottenham Hotspur’s many transfer misses in the summer came when they were beaten to the signature of Bruma.
Bruma elected to sign with German side RB Leipzig instead in a bargain £13 million move.
So how is Bruma getting on?
The Portugal under-21 international had the perfect start at Leipzig, but has not done much since.

Bruma scored in his second Bundesliga match, after coming on as a substitute in a 4-1 victory over Freiburg.
He was subsequently rewarded with a starting spot against Hamburg, but was unable to continue his momentum.
Bruma has been in and out of the side since and was only a substitute in the midweek Champions League defeat to Besiktas.

So far the 22-year-old is yet to hit his stride, with just one goal and no assists in seven total appearances.
There is more to come from Bruma, but his slow start confirms that he is far from the finished product, and he is doing little to make Tottenham regret missing out on him so far.
Spurs did not sign a winger in the transfer window and still need to find a dynamic player capable of stretching games. Bruma’s inconsistency highlights he may not have been the answer.
