Leeds United should make a loan bid for the Tottenham Hotspur youngster.
According to a report from the Manchester Evening News, Leeds’ hopes of signing Phil Foden have been dealt a blow, with Manchester City now keen to keep hold of the 18-year-old, and as a result, new Whites boss Marcelo Bielsa should switch his attention elsewhere to Tottenham’s Tashan Oakley-Boothe.
The west Yorkshire outfit are on the look-out for a classy operator in the middle of the park – someone who can add more creativity and guile to their play going forward, and the Spurs youngster could be just the ticket.
The 18-year-old midfielder is a cool and composed operator, a wonderful passer of the football, and he will be absolutely desperate to prove his worth this season.

Tottenham’s strength in the midfield department means that Oakley-Boothe will almost certainly not be given the opportunity of regular first-team football this season, so a loan move away from north London to Elland Road could be just what he needs in order to continue the trajectory of his development.
The Tottenham youngster moving down to the Championship with Leeds would not only benefit Bielsa’s side, but it would also be great for the player’s physical development, what with the robust nature of England’s second tier.
Oakley-Boothe would undoubtedly help add more guile and fluency to Leeds’ play through the middle of the park, and if Bielsa does manage to bring the Tottenham man to west Yorkshire this summer, it could turn out to be a real coup for the Whites.
