Both Tottenham Hotspur and Everton are looking for new managers, and both Spurs and the Toffees are eyeing Paulo Fonseca.
Paulo Fonseca in demand
The Athletic reported earlier this month that Fonseca is on the shortlist of managers that Everton are looking at to replace Carlo Ancelotti.
Ancelotti has left the Toffees to return to Real Madrid.
Tottenham sacked Jose Mourinho – now at Roma – in April, and Sky Italia has claimed that the North London club want to appoint his Portuguese compatriot Fonseca, as we covered it here on HITC Sport.
Tottenham to win Fonseca race?
It seems that Spurs will win the race for the 48-year-old, according to a report in The Telegraph.
The Telegraph reported last night (9:40pm) that Fonseca is confident of wrapping up a deal to become the new Spurs boss this week.

In fact, the Portuguese has actually postponed flying to Kiev due to ongoing talks between his representatives and Spurs.
It seems that Fonseca wants to manage Tottenham and is confident of getting the job at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
It will come as a blow for Everton.
The Toffees are not close to appointing a new manager, and it seems that one of the managers on their shortlist will not move to Goodison Park this summer.
