Tottenham Hotspur have been heavily linked with Oliver Glasner in recent weeks.
In March, Dean Jones told GiveMeSport that the 48-year-old manager is of “particular interest” to Spurs.
The transfer insider also speculated that Glasner “would probably take the job” at Tottenham.

More recently, Ryan Taylor told the same outlet that the Austrian “seems to be admired” by Tottenham.
Glasner reportedly has an exit clause in his contract that would allow him to leave Eintracht Frankfurt this summer.
According to BILD, he has until the last competitive game of the season to activate this clause before it runs out.
Now, Sky Sport Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg has provided an update on the Spurs target via his Twitter feed.
Apparently, the expectation at Frankfurt is that Glasner is “supposed” to extend his contract at the club.
However, he is “still hesitating” on committing to his current job, which has alarmed Frankfurt somewhat.
As a result, they are now “already probing the market” for potential replacements.
Indeed, Plettenberg has claimed that Frankfurt have held talks over Red Bull Salzburg’s Matthias Jaissle.
‘One of the best in his business’
Glasner is certainly a good shout for Tottenham.
He has plenty of experience and has taken his club to great heights.
In his first season at Frankfurt, he led them to the Europa League trophy.
The Austrian currently prefers a 3-4-2-1 formation, similar to what Conte used at Tottenham.
This would mean a transition from Conte to Glasner should be fairly seamless, in theory.
However, he is quite a versatile manager who has shown flexibility in his tactical setups and formations.
At Wolfsburg, Glasner played 4-2-3-1, which has been compared to Mauricio Pochettino’s style in 2018-19.

Earlier this month, scouting website Foot the Ball wrote: “Glasner demonstrated his tactical nous and flexibility while at Wolfsburg.
“Switching between a back three and four while also getting the very best out of the likes of striker Wout Weghorst, who scored 45 times in 84 games under the Austrian.
“It’s his ability to get more out of average players that make him one of the best in his business.”
Tottenham will surely be monitoring the situation at Frankfurt.
It looks as though Glasner’s future is not a foregone conclusion. Could Spurs have turned his head?
