Well, Tottenham Hotspur fans will see more of Gareth Bale tomorrow night.

Jose Mourinho’s side are gearing up for a Europa League clash away to Antwerp tomorrow.

Bale has been used sparingly by Mourinho since being re-signed on a season-long loan from Real Madrid earlier in the summer.

He was an unused substitute in the 1-0 away to Burnley earlier this week.

But Joao Sacramento, Mourinho’s assistant at Tottenham, has confirmed to the official website that the Welshman will be in the first XI tomorrow night.

He said: “Tomorrow, Gareth Bale will start. Gareth is improving a lot – in terms of fitness level, his condition is much, much better, he’s feeling better every day and with the interaction that we have with him, he’s feeling very positive and we believe that soon he will be at his top level again.”

You get the feeling that Bale needs just one goal or one assist to raise his confidence.

Remember, he barely featured under Zinedine Zidane toward the end of last season and combined with his minor injury recently, he isn’t batting at 100 percent yet.

But this is a player who can and will electrify football matches for Tottenham once again and it’ll be fascinating to see if he can start doing this again tomorrow.
